je souhaiterais savoir si les destinations que j'ai choisi de visiter en Chine vous semble bien?

je suis actuellement à Pékin et suis entrain de voir pour la prochaine semaine.

J'ai décidé de faire Pékin -Xi'an: 2 jours, Xi'an Cheng'du: 2 jours et Cheng'du- Guilin: 3 jours puis de revenir à Pékin pour visiter le temple des Lamas que je n'ai pas encore fait et retourner sur La Muraille!!

Cela vous semble-t-il correct? et que me conseillez vous de faire dans ces villes la? de plus je prends toutes vos adresses pour dormir sur place.

Je partirai sur le Carnival Liberty le 11 janvier 2014 et nous partirons de Miami cette fois-ci. Mon conjoint et moi voulons arriver une journée ou deux à l'avance et dormir tout près du port. Comme nous arriverons au port en Taxi, et que ce port m'est totalement inconnue, est-il facile de s'y retrouver? Que dois-je dire à mon chauffeur de taxi pour qu'il me débarque au bon endroit? Car vue qu'il y a beaucoup de compagnie de croisière, j'imagine qu'il y a plusieurs quai d'embarquements différents.....? Bref, j'aimerais bien savoir déjà où aller exactement pour mon bateau en arrivant sur le site et éviter de chercher à gauche et à droite 🤪.

Merci de m'éclairer et en même temps si vous avez des conseils d'heures d'arriver pour l'enregistrement pour éviter le rush, sur les hotel beau bon pas cher près du port et autres suggestions....je suis toute ouïe car ce sera ma première expérience a Miami 🙂.

Ensuite reprendre la route mais qu'elle étape ? Je ne veux pas faire de détour

C'est un peu compliqué nous avons en tout 3 semaines et je suis un peu perdue

je souhaite partir avec mon amie au Pérou-Bolivie pour un mois entre le 14 juillet et le 11 aout 2011. Nous envisageons de voyager en bus sur place et de dormir soit chez l'habitant, soit en hotêl. Pour le moment, nous envisageons de bouger assez régulièrement et par conséquent nous risquons de porter notre sac une bonne partie de la journée.

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un sac à dos pour ce voyage. Sachant que nous ne partirons pas en autonomie, on n'aura avec nous quelques vêtements chaud, de pluie, un sac de couchage et du matériel de secours ainsi que des chaussures de rechange, nécessaire à toilette...ou autre matériel auquel nous ne pensons pas et qui serait indispensable!

Notre problème c'est que nous hésitons entre prendre un sac à dos valise qui peut s'avérer plus pratique, plus solide pour le voyage en avion mais pas forcément adapté pour le porter toute la journée sur le dos.

Le sac à dos randonnée quant à lui paraît offrir un meilleur confort de portage mais à l'utilisation il ya beaucoup de poches accessibles aux voleurs, on n'a pas accès à toues nos affaires en l'ouvrant et il ne dispose pas d'un daypack intégré. Par contre, il a l'avantage d'avoir les raincover intégrées et un second compartiment pour les vêtements mouillés.

Y a t-il un sac qui serait plus adapté à nos conditions de voyage qu'un autre? Sachant que nous allons peut-être faire une ou deux randos de deux jours, notamment dans la vallée des Incas.

Ensuite j ai vu que varsovie est a 294 km de cracovie y a t il de beaux endroits a visiter a varsovie? peut t on faire l aller retour en bus en une journee ou est t il preferable de dormir une nuit sur place ?

Pour ma part, je cherche des idées d'itinéraires pour un voyage d'un mois et demi à partir de Sao Paulo, disons du 1er juillet 2010 au 12 aout. Je vis actuellement à Sao Paulo, perto de l'aeroporto Congonhas, pour un stage en entreprise. Je compte ensuite profiter un max de ce pays, sa culture! J'aime la musique, les rencontres, les paysages magnifiques et la nature ! Et je commence à parler le portugais! (2 mois dejà ici!) J'ai pensé aux chutes d'Iguaçu, , faire un tour dans le sud du pays, voir en Argentine, ou plus loin ! Ou visiter le Nord, voir même l'Amazonie !

Problème de budget serré, et je ne connais personne sur ce continent. Des gens ouvert à de nouvelles rencontres?

Je souhaiterais partir au Maroc début juillet et j'ai grandement besoin de votre aide. La dernière fois que j'y suis allé c'était seul, j'ai pris le train jusqu'à Lyon, j'ai dormi sur place, avant de prendre l'avion et un vol Lyon - Casa via Jet4You. Même chose pour le retour à ceci près que je n'ai pas eu à dormir à Lyon, j'ai pris le train le soir-même.

Cette fois-ci, je pars là-bas pour me fiancer et mes parents ainsi que ma sœur vont m'y accompagner. Je souhaiterais donc réduire le prix du voyage au maximum. J'avais dans un premier temps pensé à nouveau prendre le train jusqu'à Lyon, mais 4 aller-retour ça va vite grimper. J'avais également pensé prendre la voiture jusqu'à Lyon, mais où la mettre durant 2 semaines ?

Aujourd'hui, je suis en train de comparer les prix des sociétés low cost pour éventuellement prendre l'avion directement depuis Mulhouse-Bâle, arriver à Marseille ou Barcelone, puis prendre un second billet jusqu'au Maroc. C'est faisable ?

Pour simplifier :

Départ de Colmar - aéroports les plus proches : Strasbourg, Mulhouse-Bâle, un peu plus loin et de plus grande importance : Lyon, Francfort

Arrivée : Rabat ou Casablanca (on m'attendra alors à Casa)

Dates : aller entre le 4 et le 6 juillet, retour entre le 23 et le 26 juillet.

Qu'est-ce que vous me conseilleriez de faire ?

Y aurait éventuellement un petit Mulhouse - Marseille 16€ A/R hors taxes et frais (Ryanair)

puis Marseille - Casablanca pour 150€ A/R (Airarabia)

Nous sommes deux couples à partir au Japon en du 7 au 24 avril 09 soit 16 jours sur place.

Les billets ne sont pas encore achetés. Nous pensons attérir à Osaka et repartir de Tokyo ou faire un aller-retour Tokyo/Tokyo. Nous hésitons encore. L'arrivée sur Osaka et retour de Tokyo le moins cher est avec Finnair, 1340 CHF TTC. L'avion est, selon le site de la compagnie, un MD11 et les critiques sur cette compagnie ne sont pas très glorieuses au niveau du confort. Ok, c est pas cher, mais le voyage est très long donc on hésite. Le tarif au dessus est déjà bcp plus cher. Bien plus cher qu un AR sur Tokyo. 1425 CHF avec SAS et 1552 avec KLM. Que feriez vous?

Voici les endroits que nous aimerions visiter: (on ne sait pas encore dans quel ordre vu que cela dépendra des aéroports d'arrivée/départ

Suite a mon 1er message, j'ai un peu reflechi a la facon dont je voulais voyager avec mes enfants et voila ce qu'il en ressort:

Je souhaite faire un voyage de 23-25 jours en Australie en aout, avec mes 2 enfants, de 2 ans et demi, et 15 mois. Outre un imperatif geographique (passer du temps a Sydney ou reside le parrain de mon fils), je souhaite organiser mon voyage afin qu'il soit le plus accessible pour les petits, cad: limiter les trajets en voiture, ie ne pas faire 200 kms tous les jours pour se rendre d'un point a un autre, et eviter un trajet de plus de 4 h. ne pas passer nos vacances dans les avions et les aeroports, ne pas dormir dans un endroit different tous les soirs ou 2 soirs, car assez destabilisant pour les enfants etre dans la nature plutot qu'en ville (avec Hong Kong on a notre dose au quotidien), mais il nous est difficile de faire des randonnees car ils ne peuvent pas 'marcher', donc plutot des grands espaces ou il y a quelque chose a voir et ou on peut apres pique-niquer, jouer au ballon et se rouler dans l'herbe/faire des pates voir le plus d'animaux possibles, koalas, kangourous etc, mais aussi moutons etc (j'avais pense a un farmstay...), et aussi baleines, dauphins, pingouins etc

Je n'arrive pas a me decider entre remonter depuis Sydney vers Brisbane, ou descendre depuis Sydney vers Melbourne. On prefererait aussi ne pas avoir trop froid, et je crains que ce ne soit le cas vers Melbourne. Evidemment une etape plage c'est sympa pour les enfants, mais en meme temps avec le soleil, on ne souhaite pas s'y attarder et nous-memes ne sommes pas attires par le surf ou la plongee. Surtout eviter les foules, le bruit etc...

Est-ce qu'il n'y aurait pas 1 ou 2 endroits ou il serait sympa de s'installer (la formule du homestay ou self contained accomodation ayant aussi l'air interessante en famiille) pour plusieurs jours et a partir de la faire des petites excursions de 50 - 100 kms/ jour maxi pour aller voir des animaux, parcs naturels, sites particuliers etc...

Quels sont vos trucs et astuces pour gérer au mieux la fatigue liée au décalage horaire : dans le sens Paris / USA puis USA / Paris ? Au retour (USA / Paris), j'ai adopté une fois le principe suivant et cela avait bien fonctionné : "se caler tout de suite sur les horaires de la France et résister à la tentation de la sieste ou du sommeil profond" ... dès le lendemain j'étais d'attaque !

Personnellement l'enlèvement de la taxe de sécurité sur le prix des billets d'avion puisque la sécurité ??? celà serait normal.

Toujours est-il, cette opération va rapporter des millions à la cie.

Voilà, je prévois partir avec mon copain pour un petit périple en Toscane. Nous serons en Italie du 20 juin au 5 juillet et débarquons à Rome. Nous imaginons faire le trajet Rome - Sienne en train et, éventuellement se louer une voiture en Toscane pour faire le tour et surtout nous permettre de dormir hors des grands centres.

Quelqu'un a-t-il déjà loué une voiture en Italie? Combien coûte l'essence là-bas et quelle distance peut-on parcourir avec un plein d'essence dans les petites voitures de location? Est-ce une idée qui fait sens ou pas, selon votre expérience?

En même temps, si quelqu'un avait de bons conseils à me donner sur l'hébergement en Toscane, ils seraient évidemment les bienvenus!!

J'arrive à Buenos Aires fin septembre 2004. Je pensais ensuite descendre jusqu'à la péninsule de Valdez et la Terre de Feu et remonter par le chili jusqu'à Santiago et retour à BA début novembre pour accueillir une amie. En visitant certains sites, je me pose la question s'il n'est pas préférable de partir de BA pour Santiago et descendre (Valdivia, Chiloe, Les Fjords, Torres del Paine, Puerto Natales, Punta arenas, Ushuaia) et remonter vers la péninsule.

Pouvez-vous m'indiquer quel est l'itinéraire le plus sympa (fonction de la saison, des liaisons). Je compte circuler en bus.

I’ve been looking for a destination for a 2-week trip early next spring, and Cape Verde has been growing on me. (The flight isn’t too long, the temperatures are more than pleasant, and it’s an unknown country for me.)

The thing is, Cape Verde is pretty complicated when it comes to inter-island transfers, and I don’t want to spend my time in airports or on ferries—especially since those transfers aren’t exactly known for their reliability...

So, I’d like to limit internal flights to just 2, meaning the island I arrive on plus one other.

I’ve ruled out the all-inclusive islands: Sal and Boa Vista.

I’m torn between combining Santo Antão + São Vicente or Fogo + Santiago.

The goal of the trip is to see beautiful landscapes, go on day hikes (nothing multi-day), swim a little—though I prefer quiet spots—and enjoy 1 or 2 days in a city, but not much more than that!

In your opinion, which option would be the best, and why?

This September, my partner and I are heading to North Sulawesi for 3 weeks. Our international flight is with Malaysia Airlines, departing from Paris. We have a layover in KL, then fly to Denpasar, followed by a domestic flight from Denpasar to Manado. We land in Bali Denpasar on 05/09 around 12:00 PM, and our flight to Manado is on 07/09 at 1:30 AM. The plan was to have at least one night (from the 5th to the 6th of September) between our international flight and our flight to Manado, just to recharge a bit since we're not 20 anymore 😛. My question is, given the very short stop in Bali (a day and a half), is it better to stay in Denpasar rather than go to Ubud for the night? I’ve been to Bali before, and from what I remember, even though the distances are short, transfers take a long time because of the extremely heavy traffic—but I was there in July, not September. I’m not sure if that makes a big difference? If the answer is "it’s better to stay in Denpasar," are there any nice places to visit? There’s very little feedback about the city since tourists usually don’t stick around. Thanks in advance for your replies.

After flipping through the LP guide, I’m still unsure about the best bases—I can’t quite picture the distances...

Option 1: Stay near Larnaca for 1 week and Paphos for the other. But from Larnaca, Cape Greco is doable. Wouldn’t it be better to stay near Cape Greco (Protaras?) instead? What about getting to Lefkara? Same from Paphos—easy to explore as far as Kourion.

Option 2: A single, more central base somewhere between Limassol and Larnaca.

Thursday, Oct 23. Left home at 8:25 AM, took the bus from St Cyp to Perpignan, then a BlaBlaBus to Barcelona airport. Last night, a huge storm crossed France, and the bus was an hour late. We finally left at 11 AM. At the Spanish border, we were checked—several Africans were traveling on the bus, and their document verification took quite a while. In the end, everything was in order, and we set off again a good half-hour later. We finally arrived at Barcelona airport after 2 PM, but no stress since my flight was scheduled for 4:30 PM with Saudia. At check-in, the hostess told me there’d be a 1-hour delay due to bad weather in France and Belgium. In the end, the flight didn’t just have a 1-hour delay but a 5-hour one because of a technical issue. The next flight wouldn’t wait for us. When we arrived in Jeddah, they gave us another ticket for the following day—the flight to Bangkok was scheduled for 11:55 AM. The airline assigned us a room, which was good news since I was exhausted. Friday morning, the flight was still scheduled for 11:55 AM, but the gate wasn’t displayed. It was announced with a 1-hour delay, but that stretched to 4 hours. They handed out drinks and a snack—again, the delay was due to technical problems. In Bangkok, I had a connecting flight to Chiang Rai, where I’d also booked a room—I lost everything. We finally arrived in Bangkok on Saturday at 4 AM. I had to buy another ticket for a 7 AM flight. The formalities were quick, and my flight went smoothly. A taxi took me to Bus Terminal 1, where I caught a bus leaving at 10 AM, and we arrived at the Thailand-Laos border. I shared a taxi with other travelers, which took us to Houay Xai. The guesthouse I’d booked was right across from the stop—that was great. I exchanged some money and bought a SIM card at the guesthouse. Despite the fatigue, I needed to stretch my legs, so I walked down the street to the temple.

We're planning a full week in Iceland in April. Given the short timeframe to prepare, I’m asking for some help on the forum.

We’re considering renting a camper van to be more independent with our travel. - Is this really a good idea at this time of year due to weather conditions (cold nights, poor road conditions, etc.)? - Can we just "park" anywhere for the night to sleep, or do we absolutely have to go to a campsite? What are the approximate rates for a van with 2 people? Do we need to book in advance? - If this mode of transport is recommended, do you have any good places to rent one?

Iceland is still a big island with lots of points of interest, so I think it’ll be tough to see everything in 8 days. - Are there parts of the island we should prioritize in April? We like hiking (nothing too long—6 or 7 hours is out of the question) and unique landscapes. - Are some sites inaccessible at this time of year? - Is Reykjavik worth stopping for a day or two?

Here’s my account of our trip to Thailand with my partner from November 22 to December 5, 2025. First off, I’d like to wish all Voyageforum.com users a very happy 2026, full of happiness and amazing discoveries on your travels! It’s thanks to the tips I gathered on this site that I planned the trip. We traveled with Malaysia Airlines (the flight price was great, but no movies in French, not even subtitled) because we wanted to explore Kuala Lumpur and visit southern Thailand. Our departure from Roissy was delayed because the plane had to go through the robotic de-icing trucks—pretty impressive! After a 12-hour flight, we arrived at the beautiful Kuala Lumpur airport around 7 AM.



Don’t forget to fill out the immigration form requested by Malaysia 3 days before arrival. We left without any issues and took the Klia Ekspress train to KL Sentral station (30 minutes, 10 €). We’d booked accommodation in a tower near the station and had to communicate with the landlord to get the keys. But while we thought there’d be Wi-Fi at the station, there wasn’t—we asked the tourism office, and they said there wasn’t any. We didn’t want to buy a local SIM card since we were leaving the next day. Eventually, we went to a Starbucks to get online, but just as we decided to head to our place, a torrential downpour hit, and we couldn’t find a sidewalk to reach our destination. We went back to the station, took the elevated metro, and finally made it to our landlord and the room on the 45th floor.

When I run searches on Skyscanner, I see that only Lufthansa has flights to Seoul with just one stop. Air France doesn’t show up, even though I thought the French airline served Seoul? I can’t even log into the Air France website—it keeps glitching.

We traveled as a couple from October 20 to December 11, 2025, for our second trip to India and our first time in Rajasthan, plus Mathura and Agra, which are in Uttar Pradesh but right on the border, and a 4-day flight hop to Varanasi. Here’s a non-detailed trip report—just to share some info we found useful for other travelers, along with a few places and addresses we particularly enjoyed. First off, a big thank you to (I’m using usernames) Aleph240758, Solene40, Montagnard74, and Pagaljavab, who took the time to reply to me. Some of them even take the time to create detailed and illustrated travel stories. Since I only started planning the trip in mid-August, I didn’t have much time and used the trip reports on VoyageForum to build our itinerary. One more note: everyone travels differently and has their own preferences... so I’ll just share our personal feelings, which are obviously subjective.

We bought a physical SIM card upon arriving at the airport. The Airtel stand only offers one package for 500 rupees (just under 5 €) for 28 days, with 1.5 GB of data, unlimited national SMS, and calls—more than enough. Contrary to what we’d read, we asked for activation at the counter, and it was active within 10 minutes. The SIM worked well everywhere. Watch out—like in all airports, there’s a tendency to take advantage of tourists. The Airtel counter offers to exchange money directly, and we saw people paying 20 € for the SIM.

Since we arrived at night, the metro wasn’t running anymore. Plus, if you don’t know the city, we’d recommend taking a prepaid taxi—the price is fixed, and the driver knows the destination. Be careful: the prepaid taxi counter is on the right as you exit the hall, with large fixed signs above. Many counters put out a card on the desk saying "prepaid taxi," and even the Airtel stand tries to offer supposedly prepaid taxis, which is completely false. The price they ask for could be double or triple.

Here’s an app that was super useful for us In most big cities, we used "Rapido," an Indian app like Uber, to book auto-rickshaws (you can also book motorbikes or cars). You need a local phone number for this. The big advantage? The price is fixed, though you can still leave a tip. It tracks your ride, and most importantly, the destination is entered—way more practical than hailing an auto-rickshaw on the street, where the driver says "yes, yes," gives a price, and then doesn’t know where to go once you’re on the way. No need to enter a credit card. There’s also OlaCabs, which is similar, but we couldn’t get it to work.

For transportation between stops, we used government buses (RSRTC, blue buses), sometimes taxis via apps or by asking the guesthouse for visits and hard-to-reach places. This choice was really personal and made on the spot. - **Pros:** Buses leave almost every 30 minutes everywhere, giving you a lot of freedom. Every time we left from the bus station (bus stand), we had seats. Several times, we even got to sit in the driver’s cabin! The trip takes longer than a taxi, but not *that* much longer. The price is ridiculously low—1.30 € for 100 km for men, 70 cents for women. The bus stations are in the city centers, unlike many private bus companies. We met some great people. - **Cons:** It’s not exactly clean, and you’re obviously not in the comfort of a taxi. It’s not door-to-door service, so you need to travel light. You can’t stop along the way. If you need to catch the bus mid-route, it’s usually full, and you’ll have to elbow your way in without hesitation. For a short trip, I think hiring a taxi for the whole stay makes sense. Like I said, there’s no one-size-fits-all choice, but there’s no need to be apprehensive about taking public buses.

Here’s our route map, showing the number of nights spent at each stop. Compared to our initial plan, we slept one night in Barmer instead of two because we had time to visit the market in the afternoon, saw the Kiradu site the next morning, and didn’t see the point in staying longer. We cut two of the six nights in Shekhawati. After our flight to Varanasi was canceled, we had to stay in Delhi, which actually turned out well—it let us arrive in Varanasi earlier and more rested. The timing worked well for us, with longer stops in Bundi and Udaipur.

I won’t go into detail about each stop here, but I’d be happy to answer any questions. The accommodations and restaurants mentioned are the ones that had that little something extra, and the hearts (❤️❤️❤️) mark the sites we particularly loved.

Bhandarej This is a stop as a starting point to visit the Chand Baori stepwell in Abhaneri ❤️❤️❤️ Accommodation: Bhadrawati Palace, 53 €/night with breakfast in Bhandarej—nice, an old palace, warm welcome, booked via Hotels.com We were the only guests and had dinner with the current manager, the grandson of the Maharaja. There’s a pretty stepwell in the village, and we visited a tiny neighborhood temple where we were invited to join in the singing and dancing. Walking through the market was really enjoyable because of the kindness of the locals, who aren’t used to tourism ❤️❤️❤️

Jaipur - Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - Jal Mahal - Gaitore Ki Chhatriyan ❤️❤️❤️ - Amber Fort ❤️❤️❤️ - Panna Meena Ka Kund stepwell - Galta Ji Temple (Monkey Temple) ❤️❤️❤️ - Bagru, 33 km away: visit to a fabric printing workshop with block prints (I’d noted some addresses on Google Maps). The first workshop wasn’t very welcoming and had no workers because of the humid weather. We were lucky to find another, more welcoming workshop. When the sun came out, the three female workers arrived and started their work—it was a great visit ❤️❤️❤️.

Bundi Accommodation: Hotel Bundi Inn, 25 €/night with breakfast—lovely room in a haveli, good meals with a rooftop view of the fort - Garh Palace Don’t miss: at the exit of the palace, to the left, you can access a beautiful garden with a pool and, at the back, a large hall called Chitrashala ❤️❤️❤️ - Raniji Ki Baori ❤️❤️❤️ - Nahar Dhunk Ki Baori - Chaurasi Khambun Ki Chhatri (cenotaph with 84 pillars) - Ksar Bagh, an interesting set of royal cenotaphs at the end of Jait Sagar Lake. On the other hand, we could’ve skipped Sukh Mahal and its museum. Bundi is still pleasant but is no longer a secret spot.

The itinerary isn’t set in stone yet, but we’re already wondering if it’s doable or just crazy, if some stops are essential or a waste of time...

Here’s the plan: Day 1-2-3: Athens (we arrive midday on Day 1) Day 4: Southern Athens (Temple of Neptune) then overnight in Corinth (we’re renting a car from the airport) Day 5-6-7: Western/Southern Peloponnese (one or two places to stay, and the iconic spots: Acrocorinth, Cargo, Mycenae, Sanctuary of Epidaurus, Nafplio, Nemea...) Day 8: Transit to Delphi via Olympia Day 9-10: Delphi, Monastery of Osios Loukas... Day 11: Return to Athens via Thermopylae We were wondering if it’s feasible to add the Meteora monasteries? And Mount Olympus, just for fun?

For accommodations, do you have any recommendations for Athens? Peloponnese? Delphi? In Athens, I think it’s best to stay near the metro line that connects to the airport. But which neighborhood is good? It’s hard to navigate such a big city...

Two more questions: - Is Piraeus worth a visit? - We know February is a quieter time than peak tourist season, and that’s what we like. But there must be consequences—do all sites/museums close by 5 PM (except in Athens, maybe)? What do you do in the evenings once it’s dark?
