Las Vegas, attention quand même il y a certains quartiers où ça craint selon certain(e)s expert(e)s de ces hauts-lieux soi-disant mal famés.
Ailleurs à part le sempiternel écureuil, vraiment je vois difficilement ce qui pourrait vous menacer, à mins que vous le fassiez exprès, ce dont je doute fort.
Les serpents à sonnette... une fois sur un sentier à Indians Canyon (vous n'y allez pas, heureusement) un randonneur avait donné l'alerte; rendu au supposé endroit dangereux, la bête avait évidemment déguerpi.
Les précautions d'usage pour le cas où vous aventureriez à l'extérieur des sentiers battus sont, telles qu'indiquées par les Park Rangers:

- Wear appropriate hiking boots and thick socks.
- Look at your feet to watch where you step and don't put your foot in or near a crevice that you cannot see into.
- If a fallen tree or large rock is in your path, step up on to it instead of over it, as there might be a snake on the other side.
- Do not turn over rocks or logs.
- If you must move a rock or log, use gloves and roll it toward you, giving anything beneath it the opportunity to escape in the opposite direction.
- Avoid approaching any snake you cannot positively identify as a safe species.
- If you hear the warning rattle, move away from the area and do not make sudden or threatening movements in the direction of the snake.
Depending on weather rattlesnakes may roam at any time of the day or night. If
