Dont be fooled by the website 2/5 Stayed at the Orbit at the end of July in a private room with bathroom. I feel that the website for the hostel is a false advertisement and does not portray the hostel accuratley.
After the initial shock upon entering the room, it took me a good two hours to accept that this was were I was going to stay for 5 nights. The room was shabby to say the least, the bathroom wasn't very pleasant at all, the door to the room did not lock properly, needed to get the pillow covers changed as they were dirty upon arrival, dorms rooms were serviced daily but not the private rooms (I cant figure that one out) and no tv in private room even though website says otherwise.
Most of the staff were very good although I did see that a lot of the time they seemed to preoccupied with outside visitors/girlfriends popping in and out rather than with being more attentive to the guests.
Would I stay here again? Maybe if I was short on cash and needed something with a good location. If yu can afford an extra $50 a night, look elsewhere because otherwise you might be dissappointed. -- Le site de l hotel :
