Hi there, Can anyone tell me if they’ve taken a No.. Face Base Camp S or XS duffel bag as carry-on on an international Air France flight? Bag dimensions (S): 33.03 x 53.34 x 33.02 cm I’ve never traveled with just a carry-on—only my 15L backpack. Thanks! !

Hi,

Whether it's a backpack, a carry-on suitcase, or a travel bag, what matters are the maximum dimensions for carry-on luggage on Air France: 55 x 35 x 25 cm and the maximum weight. So, when it comes to a backpack, it all depends on whether you can compress it to fit—without forcing—into a 55 x 35 x 25 cm template.

Good evening,

It's unlikely they'll ask you to check the dimensions of the item—it's usually done by sight. If it's not stuffed to the brim and can be compressed in the overhead bin to about 25 cm, there won’t be any issues.

Thanks Michel for your reply. In the meantime, I checked out different blogs about the bag, and it seems like it fits as carry-on luggage. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed though. 😉
