Nous sommes un jeune couple grenoblois (France) qui aimerions partir en polynésie Française pour nous y installer et travailler.
Je me présente, je m'appelle Emeline, j'ai 27 ans et je suis pharmacien. Mon ami Gaël a 32 ans et est Kinésithérapeute.
Nous recherchons donc un emploi de pharmacien et de kiné en remplacement à partir de juin 2008 si possible. A savoir que nous pouvons tous les 2 travailler soit à l'hôpital soit en libérale (cabinet ou pharmacie d'officine).
J'ai déjà pris connaissance qu'il y avais un certain nombre de pharmacie sur l'île et qu'il existait plusieurs grands hôpitaux.
Si quelqu'un pouvait nous aider à contacter des pharmaciens et des kiné sur place, cela nous aiderait beaucoup dans nos démarches.
Quel est l'endroit le plus judicieux pour s'installer en Polynésie pour que l'on arrive moi et mon copain à trouver du boulot pas trop loin l'un de l'autre ?
J'ai encore plein d'autres questions comme vous pouvez vous en douter.... mais je préfère vous les poser plus tard pour ne pas trop surcharger mon message.

Je pensais t'envoyer la liste des kiné & pharmacies en PF pour que tu puisses prendre des contacts, mais elle est bien trop longue! Je te conseille donc d'aller directement voir l'annuaire de l'OPT (Office des Postes et Télécommunication = la Poste locale): http://www.annuaireopt.pf
Il y a 1 hôpital, et deux cliniques, tu les trouveras aussi sur le site.
Vu vos métiers, j'imagine que vous pourrez trouver dans beaucoup d'îles, même si c'est à Tahiti qu'il y a le plus de monde, donc potentiellement le plus de patients. Les îles importantes ensuite sont Moorea, Raiatea, et Bora. Et puis Huahine, voire Rangiroa. Ce qui ne signifie pas qu'un kiné serait malvenu dans une île plus petite!!
Les vols sont plus chers entre juin et septembre parce que c'est la saison sèche. Mais c'est aussi là que les gens prennent des vacances (ce sont les vacances scolaires) => si vous venez remplacer qqun, vous risquez de trouver à cette période.
Sinon, vous pouvez essayer pendant la saison des pluies (novembre à février), il y a aussi de longues vacances à Noel mais d'une part c'est trop tard pour cette année; d'autre part la saison porte bien son nom...... Tout dépend combien de temps vous souhaitez venir.
Habituellement, les médecins qui viennent faire des remplacements sont logés (plus exactement j'en ai connu deux dans ce cas). Sinon, attention aux coûts, plutôt exhorbitants. En fonction de ça, vous verrez où vous installer. C'est "un détail" me semble-t-il, que vous pourrez régler quand vous en saurez plus sur votre travail et les conditions de venue.
peut être l'hôpital de Grenoble peut-il vous trouver un remplacement: les 2 médecins que j'ai connu venir faire ça ont trouvé de cette façon. Je ne sais pas comment ça se passe avec les pharmaciens.

Je viens de recevoir un mail d'un ami pharmacien en Polynésie qui me dit qu'il est devenu difficile de trouver un emploi en pharmacie depuis qu'une loi sur l'emploi local est passée l'année dernière.
???? en fait pour toute embauche, les pharmaciens de PF doivent nécessairement déclarer leur intention au ministère associé qui leur proposera en retour une liste de candidats (polynésiens, bien sûr). Les métropolitains ne pourront être proposés pour un emploi qui si AUCUN polynésien ne peut répondre aux critères.
Ainsi, plusieurs pharmacies ne font plus appel qu'à des gens connus (notamment les plus grosses, qui sont celles de Mamao et de Paea).
Je ne sais pas si je continu de chercher un emploi au risque de ne rien trouver ou si nous changeons de destination.
Dans ce cas nous pensons partir en Nouvelle Calédonie.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
Are there any special requirements before leaving France (aside from taxes...)?

Hi, I’m a self-employed physiotherapist in France, and as my wife (a nurse) and I look into working abroad in about two years, I’ve been offered an equivalence to become a respiratory physiotherapist in Switzerland. Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland? Based on the paperwork I’ve received, the equivalence seems purely administrative or almost... What about working conditions, quality of life, salaries, etc.?
