Vu la situation économique désastreuse partout en France y compris dans le sud, je te conseille vivement de chercher d'abord du travail avant de démissionner ! Il est trop difficile de trouver un logement sans travail ! Le secteur du bâtiment est en berne dans le sud, et je conseille vivement à ton compagnon de chercher également en intérim dans la région avant de faire quoi que ce soit !
Où attérir dépendra du job que tu auras trouvé !
Je te déconseille fortement de mettre la charrue devant les boeufs !

Je dirais la même chose que Tassili ci-dessus, ne quitte pas ton job, ton appart AVANT d'avoir trouvé un job dans nouvelle région car cela pourrait être comme un suicide. La situation économique étant ce qu'elle est, mieux vaut avoir un boulot pas trop glorieux dans endroit pas trop sympa que rien ailleurs. Le "je me débrouillerai ou je verrai sur place" ne marche pas en ces temps-ci.
Trouvez-vous tous les 2 du travail et après vous pourrez préparer votre départ.

Et puis, demandez-vous bien ce que vous allez gagner (ou pas !) en partant dans le Languedoc Roussillon... et ce que vous allez perdre !
Concernant le logement : je ne sais où vous habitez actuellement. Mais je découvre actuellement que trouver un logement est une véritable galère dans certaines villes, même en étant salarié ! Les garanties exigées sont tout simplement hallucinantes. Alors, sans emploi...
Autre point : le chômage est grandissant chez les travailleurs sociaux.
Une possibilité, peut-être, à exploiter : un congé sans solde, quelques mois, le temps de tester la faisabilité de votre projet (recherche d'emploi, de logement) et de mesurer les avantages de votre situation actuelle.

Avant de débarquer en famille chez ta sœur et ton beau-frère, réfléchis quand même ! C'est très facile de dire aux gens "venez chez moi pendant que vous cherchez du boulot et un logement" mais souvent ça part en vrille. Les tensions apparaissent car la personne hébergée ne trouve pas assez vite, ses hôtes lui font sentir d'abord et ensuite le lui disent ouvertement qu'il faut dégager au plus vite car ils n'en peuvent plus.... Tu sais, héberger des gens pendant quelques jours, c'est faisable mais lorsqu'il s'agit d'héberger pendant des semaines, voire des mois des gens qui en plus n'auront pas le moral car ne pas trouver de boulot, c'est usant, c'est autre chose et très peu de gens accepteront cela. Ca va si ta sœur et ton beau-frère sont très riches et très généreux et habitent dans un 300 m2 mais s'ils ne sont pas riches et ne sont pas logés grandement, ils vont en avoir marre de vous supporter et de vous nourrir (normal).
Je ne vis plus en France et y mets rarement les pieds mais franchement quitter un job et un appartement pour partir à l'aventure et de surcroît avec un enfant me fait froid dans le dos. Trouver un boulot, à moins d'avoir un cv de pdg, ne pas être trop vieux et d'avoir des relations en béton, relève du pur exploit en France et en plus j'imagine qu'ils embauchent d'abord la population locale avant de prendre les autres.
Je te souhaite bien sûr de réussir mais je tiens à te mettre en garde. Je sais que je semble dure mais à mon âge ;), je connais la vie et ce dans plusieurs pays et donc je sais que c'est loin d'être facile et que s'il y a beaucoup d'appelés, il y a très peu d'élus.....
Je te dirai comme les autres, déjà il faut négocier une rupture conventionnelle qui te donnera droit au chômage surtout que la région que tu convoites, au point de vu boulot, c'est vraiment pas le top, tu devrais déjà regarder sur les offres d'emploi du coin, ne t'éternises pas chez ta sœur car c'est juste bon à avoir des conflits ce qui serait bien dommage mais si c'est votre choix faites le.........

Ma tante vie à Perpignan, elle a une amie qui a des contacts pour des logements, donc je pense que c'est une grande chance pour moi :-D

Je travaille depuis 9 ans pour le même employeur, mais beaucoup de conflits en ce qui concerne mon poste, je suis animatrice, mais je fais beaucoup de travail éducatif, j'ai les mêmes missions que mes collègues monitrice éducatrice, mais pas le même salaire.
J'ai demandé une formation depuis un an, mais mon employeur dit réfléchir sur la formation qui me conviendrait le mieux, alors que j'ai déjà trouvé celle que je voulais.
J'ai donc pris rendez-vous avec un avocat pour le mois de octobre, car pas mal de choses de la convention ne sont pas respectées, elle me dirigera sur les procédures à engagées, prud'hommes...

En effet, tu sembles prendre des précautions mais attention quand même à la cohabitation avec ta sœur et son conjoint ! Tu dis avoir déjà cohabité avec elle mais sans doute la situation était différente. Quand on cherche du boulot, on ne sait évidemment pas combien de temps ça va prendre (en général, très longtemps en France), on passe par des moments très difficiles, on se décourage, les sous partent vite, on ne peut contribuer à la nourriture et donc tensions, voire plus. C'est loin d'être évident de loger chez des gens dans de telles conditions et c'est très difficile pour tout le monde.
Quant au logement que pourrait (conditionnel, donc !) te faire avoir ta tante, comprends quand même que sans emploi (confirmé, c'est à dire après période d'essai, et bien sûr pas en CDD;)), sans bulletins de salaire, quasiment impossible.
Tu dis que ce n'est pas la joie dans ton boulot, c'est vraisemblable mais ne crois pas qu'ailleurs c'est mieux sinon cela se saurait. Les conditions de travail sont les mêmes partout et pas à l'avantage des salariés et ce sera de pire en pire ....
Avant de tout lâcher, prenez tout en ligne de compte (le pour et le CONTRE).

Sam je vois très bien ce que tu veux dire étant sur Orléans.Pour te donner une idée j'avais un pote gendarme.(parti depuis😄)Il me disait que les gendarmes qu'arrivaient se disaient chouette on est prêt de Paris etc.Une fois le temps passé et qu'ils ont compris.Ils demandaient très vite leur mutation...
Sur VF j'avais mis un slogan "Orléans c'est bien à visiter mais évitez d'y vivre!".J'ai reçu des mp de profs etc.Qu'ils partageaient mon opinion😄 eux aussi partis.

Je connais des personnes qui sont partis du côté de Toulouse.Et ils ne regrettent pas.
Le climat joue sur le mental et Orléans y a aussi ce côté faux bourgeois.Qui est insupportable!
Bon j'arrête là ça me rappel des destinations cools ou les gens ne se prenaient pas la tête.
par ex l'AFPA en fongecif tu passe en prioritaire pas en demandeur d'emploi ou t'attends un an.Et le Fongecif une astuce pour ton dossier tu demande à faire une EMT évaluation milieu de travail d'une semaine.(que tu prends sur ton temps de travail)Comme ça en commission ils se diront que t'es vraiment motivé etc.Dans le cas ou tu voudrais faire une formation et t'as pas d'expérience dedans.
L'employeur n'a pas le droit de te refuser.
L'avantage c'est que tu gardes ta paies et tu perds pas de chômages.Et vu que c'est 35 heures ça te laisse du temps et t'as des stages en entreprises.Cela te permet de voir l'ambiance.Idem pour ton conjoint de voir si c'est viable pour trouver du taf etc.
Après comme un bon commercial il faut arriver vendre son projet.Je ne pense pas qu'il faut que tu dises "je vais partir là bas c'est pour prospecter!".Il faut que tu baratines sur une reconversion pro ou que tu vas te perfectionner pas le plus dur.
C'est de te faire accepter par le centre de formation Afpa Bezier ou un centre de formation.Là je pense il faut rencontrer un responsable et pas au téléphone.
On arrive fin d'année donc mets en place ton dossier pour 2015 quand ils auront fais le plein dans les caisses.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
