Travaillant en hotellerie depuis qq années, j'ai une proposition sympa pour travailler dans un resort de luxe aux Maldives situé sur l'ile de Manafaru. La position a l'air d'être sympa et va dans le sens de mon évolution professionel. Mais le salaire est vraiment léger, il me propose us$ 400 pour un mois. Qu'en pensez vous? Je crois que c'est dans la moyenne, mais tout de même que fait-on avec US$ 400 par mois? Est que je peux compter sur les tips pour m'enrichir en peu plus? Et la vie sur une ile n'est pas trop difficile?

Je déteste les villes, donc, à ta place, je fonce!! Si tu n'as pas d'enfant ou autre, tente l'expérience..au pire, tu vas tomber amoureuse de l'île ou autre..tu pourras rajouter cette expérience dans ton cv qui va peut être te permettre de tomber sur une autre proposition par la suite..
L'hotellerie n'a jamais bien payé, c'est pour cela que j'ai quitté, à cause du salaire, d'ailleurs, je n'ai jamais compris comment les gens n'ont jamais fais de grève dans l'hotellerie car c'est de l'exploitation!!!!!!!!pour un salaire de misère!! Et tu travailles la plupart du temps..mais c'est vrai que le métier est plaisant..
Il est difficile de te dire si ton salaire est ok ou non sans savoir quel est le job propose.
Pour info plus generale, tu n'as aucune depenses sauf tes boissons generalement avec discount de 50% pour le staff. Il faut voir pour l'eau. Comme Manafaru est tres eloignee de Male la capitale, tu ne seras pas souvent tentee d'y aller pour le shopping ( tt est relatif quannd je dis shopping, c'est loin d'etre le nirvana 😉).
Donc sur l'ile il n'y aura pas de depenses si ce n'est les extras boissons, shopping a la boutique...Il faudra demander quels sont les conditions pour les massages, les activites payantes ( nautiques motorisees par exemple) si tu comptes en faire.

Ce que je n'ai pas précisé dans mon histoire c'est que actuellemnt je suis à Singapore. Et on me proposait aussi un job à Singapore mais pas aussi interessant qu aux Maldives. Puisqu'aux Maldives je serais Villa host french speaking, donc pour moi qui suis en début de carrière dans le monde de l hotellerie cette position me permettra d'évoluer et de mettre un pied dans le luxe.
D'ailleurs mon choix est fait et je pars donc pour les Maldives.
RoseMaldive, je ne connais pas votre prénom, combien de temps pensez vous, le visa prendra t il? L'hotel m'a dis environ 2 semaines, mais je n'ai rien a remplir comme un formulaire et ça m'étonne.
Sinon l'hotel comporte 300 employés et nous avons tout un petit monde à nous apparement. J'espere que la vie sur une île de cette taille sera ma convenir. Pouvez vous m'en dire d'avantage sur les Maldives.

Pour le visa, ne vous inquietez pas, c'est normal. Avez-vous deja communique une copie de votre passeport ? Les hotels s'occupent de tout.
Vous aurez des photos ID a fournir normalement.
Sinon ne vous etonnez pas si on vous demande un test sante pour le HIV ou comme cela m'etait arrive a l'epoque une preuve de casier juducaire vierge. Demandez a l'hotel si ils en ont besoin...comme cela vous aurez tout au cas ou.
Oui. La vie ds un hotel est un petit monde comme vous dites. Il faut etre assez solitaire de nature et solide meme si on est tt le temps entoure ( clients, staff...)
Il faut aimer la mer car elle sera celle qui vous donnera vos bouffees d'oxygene necessaire. Plongee, snorkeling, planche a voile...
J'aurai des milliards de choses a dire des Maldives. C'est un pays en apparence assez simple mais tres complexe. Une reelle experience passera avec des amities Maldiviennes...Timides et reserves au debut, ils ont tellement de choses a nous apprendre.
Vous serez entourees de Sri Lankais, Indiens, Pakistanais...europeens bien sur. J'ai adore ce melange de cultures.
Allez visiter si vous le pouvez les iles locales et tentez de mieux connaitre la vie des gens sur ces iles, en posant des questions en douceur.
Les Maldives sont magiques. Elles apportent une intense dose de serenite et pour certains une reelle communion avec les elements.
N'hesitez pas pour des questions plus pointues...le sujet est infini.

attention je tempérrais cette affirmation: les atolls aux Maldives sont petits , ils ne doivent pas dépasser les 1000 mètres de diamètre et à moins d'être fou de plongée et de lagon on risque vite de s'y emmerd...
donc faut vraiment peser le pour et le contre.
En France/Europe si tu veux aller au ciné ou au théatre eh bien tu as le choix.
Aux Maldives niet.
Je ne suis pas allé sur l'atoll principal ( seulement celui du Club Med ) mais l'atoll de Malé questions activités ça doit être très limité...
