Hope you're all doing well—it’s really great to see the site up and running again! Back in 2022, I booked a round-trip flight to Cairo/Paris via eDreams. The outbound was with Saudia: Cairo > Jeddah > Paris. The return was supposed to be in September 2022 with Aegean: Paris > Athens > Cairo. At the end of July, I got an email saying my flight was canceled by the airline. I immediately requested a refund, and they told me it would take 6 months to process. And since then—nothing. I’ve followed up with eDreams multiple times, but they just redirected me to Aegean, whose contact seems impossible to reach.

Do you have any leads or a contact address to follow up with them? Have any of you had similar experiences? Were you eventually refunded?

Your situation is a bit complicated. Could you clarify by providing the following details? I can’t promise I’ll find a solution, but the experts will need to know this to respond: - Is everything under one booking, with a single ticket number? Or with a single PNR (booking reference)? - Which flight was actually canceled? - It’s been over two years now? Why did you wait so long?

I’m not very optimistic; maybe an expert will chime in here to clarify things.

Yes, I have only one reservation number.

Only the return ticket was canceled, even though the flight was still operated by Aegean. I’ve followed up with eDreams several times, but they told me I had to wait over 6 months for them to process the case. After 10 months, they asked me to contact the airline (I sent forms but never got a response).

I made just one round-trip booking (via eDreams) and paid eDreams once. I’ve filed multiple complaints, but I’ve never been refunded. The response is always the same: *The request has been made to the airline.* My ticket was canceled for no reason!

Hi there, Just because you have a single booking and one payment on eDreams doesn’t mean you have a single ticket. In your booking, how many e-ticket numbers did you have? How many PNRs? Because, as far as I know, Aegean and Saudia aren’t part of the same alliance (Star Alliance and SkyTeam), so there’s no round-trip single ticket.

Sure enough, I have two PNRs. My booking with Aegean was canceled without any reason.

Just to clarify, at first eDreams told me that because it's post-Covid (refunds can take up to 6 months). After 6 months, they asked me to check directly with Aegean (I never managed to get an answer).

Yesterday, I followed up with eDreams again, and they confirmed it's not normal to still not be refunded after all this time. They asked me to wait once more.

This is a good reminder that when there’s an issue, we’re usually glad we booked directly with the airline.
