Mon ami vient de trouver un poste a papeete et nous devons arriver la-bas avant la fin Juin.Nous avons une petite fille de trois mois.Cette future aventure nous ravit mais nous sommes un peu pris au depourvu et un peu en manque d info d ordre pratique.
Nous apprehendons un peu de ne pas trouver rapidement de logement car nous n avons pas beaucoup d argent davance et ne pouvons pas nous permettre d aller a l hotel.Pensez-vous qu il est possible de trouver une habitation sur moorea et travailler sur papeete? 80 000 CFP pour un F2, est-ce realisable?
Peut-on trouver une colocation(qui accepterait un bebe) au debut?Savez-vous ou ou aupres de qui s adresser?
Existe-t-il sur papeete des magasins de meubles d'occasion?Y'a-t-il des journaux de petites annonces?

Tout d'abord, sachez qu'il est possible de vivre sur Mooréa et travailler a Papeete, de nombreuses personnes font la traversée chaque jour, par le ferry en 30 minutes, mais la derniere liaison est aux alentours de 17H30-18h de Papeete.Tout dépend du lieu de travail de votre époux, car il vous faudra un moyen de locomotion sur Papeete. Pour accéder au quai des ferry de Mooréa l'ideal est de vivre pas trop loin ou avoir moyen de locomotion.
Les locations sur Mooréa sont un peu moins chères que sur Papeete.
Pour une colocation vous pouvez essayer de laisser une annonce sur www.tahiti-fenua.com sur le forum pour chercher colocation, il existe aussi www.paruvendu.pf pour les petites annonces.
En ce qui concerne les meubles, sachez que la plupart des locations sont deja meublées, si vous souhaitez acheter autres choses, ( voiture electroménager etc)en plus des adresses ci dessus, vous trouverez surement sur place des post-it, (carrefour, ville, caserne) ou les gens qui repartent sur la métropole(militaires par ex)revendent en solde.J'espère avoir pu vous aider un peu, ne stressez pas, tout ce passera bien.

J'ai lu avec intérêt vos messages car je vais venir m'installer à Papeete courant septembre et j'avoue avoir aussi quelques interrogations. Je me permets donc de vous poser mes 2-3 questions d'ordre pratique, en espérant que vous pourrez m'aider:
- existe-t-il des cartes pré-payées pour les téléphones portable ou doit-on prendre obligatoirement un abonnement? Et dans ce cas, faut-il venir avec son téléphone (y-a-t-il des spécificités techniques comme 3G, tri-bande) ou les portables sont à des prix abordables?
- Peut-on trouver facilement des scooters ou des petites motos d'occasion, justement pour se déplacer sur l'île? Et combien faut-il compter? Quelle est la législation en vigueur?
- J'ai entendu parler de la loi pour la résidencialité des travailleurs, qu'en est-il vraiment? Est-elle déjà en application?
- Est-il facile d'ouvrir un compte en banque et quelle banque me conseillez-vous?

Habiter MOOrea est moins cher que Papeete mais le bateau tous les jours coute en fin de moi 20 000 cfp par personnes.
Sinon, oui 80 000 ca se trouve à moorea je pense.
Les petites annonces en journal il y a PARU VENDU.PF et la depeche, qui fournissent à eux deux l'essentiel des petites annonces.
Sinon, louer un logement vide et acheter des meubles pe parait un peu galere et cher je pense, mieux vaut louer un meublé qd meme.

Je vais essayer de répondre à tes interrogations.
1/ Oui il existe des cartes prépayées pour les téléphones portables sans obligation d'abonnement.Si tu as un téléphone portable débloqué je sais que tu peux acheter une puce (environ 4.500 xpf= multiplier par 0, 008 pour avoir les euros), puis une carte prépayée vini.
D'aprés ce que j'ai pu voir les téléphones portables hors abonnement sont très chers. (Il existe également des cartes prépayées pour connexion à internet en mode wifi :manaspot).Je te conseille www.vini.pf site du réseau mobile et www.mana.pf pour internet et www.opt.pf (office des postes et télécommunications.)
2/ On peut trouver des 2 roues d'occasions, car en cette période, il y a des mouvements de personnes(fonctionnaires, armée)repartant sur la métropole, qui revendent de tout.(voiture, vaisselle, bibelots, meubles).Attendre d'être sur place!!. De nombreuses annonces dans les supermarchés carrefours. Pour le prix tu peux te donner une idée de ce qui peut se pratiquer sur www.paruvendu.pf.
Pour la législation en rigueur, je peux t'orienter sur www.transports-terrestres.pf , car je ne sais pas.
3/ Pour la résidentialité des travailleurs:
Sur ce forum j'ai pu lire un post de Bobcat datant du 20 mai 2009, sur les lois votées protégeant l'emploi local. Je ne saurais te dire si elle sont déja en application. Par contre j'ai pu lire dans le quotidien la dépêche de Tahiti du 26 juin, www.ladepeche.pf/fenua/économie que le Haut Commissariat envoie un recours contre la loi , pour le service public, devant le conseil d'état.
4/ Pour ouvrir un compte, si l'on a de l'argent, ne doit pas être trés compliqué!! je plaisantes.😉😉
A Tahiti les principales banques sont la banque Socredo, la banque de Polynésie (groupe société générale) la banque de Tahiti groupe caisse épargne et la poste (OPT) pour compte courant postal . A toi de voir.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
