Effectivement il y a actuellement beaucoup de chambres en cours de rénovation qui seront sans doute teminées d'ici votre arrivée. Cependant nos chambres n'avaient pas été rénovées mais cela était correct et très grandes. Toutefois malgré le nom ne vous attendez pas à un palace. En ce qui concerne la localisation des chambres tout dépend de ce que vous recherchez !
Pour ce qui est de Bayahibe je vous précise que l'hôtel n'est pas vraiment à Bayahibe il est à Dominicus. Pour aller à Bayahibe vous devez prendre un taxi ou la "guagua" le bus local, nous l'avons fait c'est sans risque et pas cher, il faut environ 10 mn.

Pour Bayahibe, je sais que l'hôtel n'est pas dans le village, je suis allé au Be live Canoa l'an passé.
je suis désolée mais je n'ai pas vraiment regyardé les numéros de chambre, je ne peux donc pas vous affirmer quoi que ce soit. Mais ne nous inquiétez pas même si elle n'a pas été rénovée c'est tellement beau dehors que l'on ne reste pas beaucoup dans la chambre.

je suis nouveau membre , et je serai en RD (Bayahibe) en février j'hésite entre le palace et le beach , qui selon certains forum me semble moins confortable et plus bruyant (??)
j'y vais avec mon épouse et mon fils de 7 ans , nous ne cherchons pas la quiétude d'un monastère, mais un peu de repos (la nuit) nous ferai le plus grand bien...

c'est sûr que si vous voulez du calme la nuit il vaut mieux aller au palace sauf si vous êtes dans les bungalows du beach du côté du restaurant La Rocca Grill, ils sont en face de la plage et c'est un coin très joli et tranquille. Par contre n'allez pas du côté de la Placita du Beach car il y a des soirees tous les soirs jusqu'a 1 heure du matin.

Nous partons également dans cet hôtel début février. J'ai contacté Ryanna Sun pour effectuer des excursions. J'espère ne pas être déçue.
Je suis certaine que vous ne serez pas déçus ; tout est très bien organisé et l'quipe est super. Lors de précédents voyages j'ai fait les excursions via les hôtels et franchement il n'y a pas phtoto !

Le Dreams si je me rappelle bien est juste à côté du village de Bayahibe, on peux même y aller à pieds. Alors que les hôtels de la zone Dominicus pas mal de gens prennent la gua gua ou le taxi pour se rendre à Bayahibe (même si il y a tout de même une possibilité de s'y rendre à pieds en n'ayant pas peur de la marche).
On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux ! (même si pour des voyageurs les yeux çà compte !!!)

Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
