Bonjour , j'aimerais partir avec EF en direction de Santa Barbara . Pas besoin desce cacher que le prix est assez élévé . J'ai lu plusieurs critiques qui m'ont fait douter de cet organisme et vite perdre l'enthousiasme que j'avais en regardant leurs brochures . J'aimerais donc avoir les avis des personne qui sont partis a Santa Barbara avec EF .

Je suis partie à 19 ans et ce n'était pas à Santa Barbara, mais à EF Londres.
Chaque endroit peut être différent, mais dans mon cas je n'ai pas vraiment quelque chose à reprocher à l'organisme. C'est cher car c'est un réseau international qui investit beaucoup dans la pub, mais c'est un bon organisme.
À l'époque, j'ai même connu une fille qui avait fait les deux écoles EF (Londres et celui de Californie). Pour la Californie elle etait même tombée amoureuse du prof et ils se sont fréquentés en cachette! LOL
Il faut que tu précises tes attentes, que recherche tu exactement en allant là-bas?

Pour répondre a ta question je cherche a apporter un enrichissement a mon anglais qui est déjà bon mais surtout a faire de nouvelles rencontres et profiter des lieux . En gros mélanger amusement et travail .
Alors tu ne te tromperas pas avec ton projet! Les jeunes qui vont dans les écoles de langue en Californie cherchent eux aussi à s'amuser et rencontrer des gens. Prévois un bon budget pour les sorties et activités car tu voudras en faire vraiment beaucoup!

Je suis moi aussi partie avec EF mais jamais aux Etats-Unis. J'ai fait Oxford et Dublin et Berlin cet été. Je n'ai jamais eu de problèmes avec cet organisme. Je trouve moi aussi que c'est un peu cher mais je suis sûre qu'avec eux je n'ai pas de problème.
Comme j'ai fait plusieurs destinations, j'ai un petit réseau de gens qui sont partis avec EF. Si tu veux, tu peux me passer ton email en message privé au cas où je trouve quelqu'un qui puisse répondre à tes questions sur EF Santa Barbara.

J'ai moi aussi 16 ans et je suis vraiment intéressée à partir soit à Santa Barbara ou Miami avec EF. Je me demandais si finalement tu y étais allée, combien de temps, comment a été ton expérience, etc... Mes parents sont ouverts à l'idée que j'aille là-bas pour 3 semaines, mais à la condition que je paye le voyage et tout, donc si tu pouvais me donner des infos comme le prix, les activités, les horaires, les cours, ... Ce serait vraiment apprécié!:)

L'école ressemble a une belle et grande maison de vacances alliant technologie pour les cours et espaces détente!
L'école est très bien située proche du centre ville et de la plage!
Dans ce cadre, tu pourras facilement allier travail et détente! :)
J'avais choisi d'être hébergé dans une famille d'accueil pour partager leur quotidien, et découvrir la culture américaine! Je n'en suis pas déçue, au contraire! C'était très conviviale!! :)
Enfin, EF propose également différentes activités que ce soit la journée ou le week end! J'en ai fais plusieurs et c'était vraiment sympa! (comme aller à San Francisco ou à un match de BAseball! :))

Pour ma part, je ne suis pas partie à Santa Barbara avec EF, mais j'ai déjà effectué 4 séjours avec cet organisme, (respectivement à Miami, Honolulu, Sydney, et Cape Town).
Effectivement, j'ai également eu l'occasion de voir de nombreux commentaires négatifs sur cet organisme sur des forums. Toutefois, j'en reste assez étonnée, car pour ma part, je n'ai jamais eu de problèmes. Concernant les conseillères que j'ai eu l'occasion de rencontrer, elles ont toutes été attentionnées et disponibles, que ce soit avant, pendant, ou après mon séjour. Je n'ai jamais eu de soucis avec l'organisme à Paris.
Concernant les résidences, effectivement ce ne sont pas des hôtels 4 étoiles, mais bien des résidences étudiantes. Ces résidences sont propres et fonctionnelles. A Miami, les repas étaient compris dans le prix, (demi-pension la semaine, et pension complète le week-end). A Honolulu, j'avais une petite kitchenette dans ma chambre pour préparer mes repas. A Sydney et Cape Town, la résidence bénéficiait d'une cuisine commune accessible à tous les étudiants de la résidence.
Concernant les cours, j'ai toujours eu des étudiants du monde entier dans ma classe, et nous étions rarement plus d'une dizaine en classe. Les profs ont toujours été à l'écoute et attentionnés. Les cours sont basés principalement sur l'oral, ce qui permets de vite progresser.
Concernant ton âge, effectivement, être mineur est souvent dommage aux Etats-Unis, mais si tu ne souhaites pas sortir en boite ou consommer d'alcool, cela ne constituera en aucun cas un problème ;)

Après, tu as le choix de le prendre avec l'organisme EF, tu peux aller sur le site My EF sur internet avec ton identifiant et tu verras un onglet Book Your Flight ou tu peux mettre ton lieu de départ/ arrivée avec les dates.
La dame qui s'en occupe m'a dit que le premier prix du vol pour mon lieu et date de départ était de 995 euros

Salut, pour répondre à vos questions sur les prix des weekends proposées par EF SB pour aller à Las Vegas/Los Angeles... de ce qu'on ma dit ça tournait aux alentours des 300/400$ en été 2018 à voir si ils ont changé les prix.
