Il est vrai que ds le batiment en général, il ya du boulot. Nous on a passé une annonce depuis une semaine et on a aucune réponse, on cherche quelqu'un de polyvalent sans forcément d'expérience. Mais une chose est certaine c'est que le batiment, si tu n'es pas a ton compte ce n'es pas tres rémunérateur. En France je ne sais pas quels sont les salaires, je n'étais pas ds cette branche quand j'y vivais. En maçonnerie, couverture, ou second oeuvre le salaire d'un ouvrier qualifié est aproximativement entre le smic (1000 euros) et 1300 euros. Si tu qualités professionelle, des responsablités, ou une réelle expérience tu peux miser sur 1500/1700 euros mais guere plus. Pour ma part je suis payé un peu plus mais je fais rarement moins de 50h/sem, parfois comme actuellement env 60h. Dans ma boite on est 4 actuellement, on est tout corps d'état.
L'avantage en NC c'est que une fois que tu connais bien le marché, le fonctionnement, les habitudes de travail de la société calédonienne, les tarifs pratiqués, tu peux tres facilement te mettre a ton compte. Moi je ne le fais pas parce que je n'ai pas envie de + de responsabilités que ce que j'ai actuellement. Et puis il y a le contact avec les clients, les rencontres, les entretiens, les devis, ça ne m'interesse pas. Plus tard peutetre.
En tant que salarié si tu gagnes 200 000 f ( 1700euros) cela ne te suffira pas pour vivre correctement avec ta famille.il faut avoir 2 salaires. Ici il n'y a pas d'aide, pas de rmi, d'apl, ne compte pas sur les aloc, le chomage est minime et dure max 9 mois. il y a peu d'aide sociales et pour en bénéficier faut etre au miniminimum. Donc au début il faut compter que sur toi et ta perseverence, ton courage. Apres tu rencontre des gens tu comprend comment ça marche ici et puis voilà!!!

Je suis maçon dans les monuments historiques en France et j'aurais voulus savoir si il y avait une telle pénurie que ça dans le batiment en NC.
Je trouve pas non plus quels serait les salaires mis à part que c'est 39 hrs par semaine.Il y a qu'en France où on travail 35 hrs, je m'en plein pas mais faut voir comment on doit vivre ou plutot survivre.
C'est pour ça qu'avec ma femme et mes 2 filles on envisage de partir chez vous.
J'avoue qu'il y n'a un qui nous a fait peur en parlant de 3 mois de séjour après on rentre si on trouve pas de travail.

en tant que maçon tu vas trouver du boulot sans problèmes mais en tant que salarié avec deux enfants tu ne vas pas t'en sortir.
Si tu as des reserves d'argent ut peux tjrs prendre un boulot de salarié le temps de prendre des contacts et te mettre à ton compte pas la suite.
Si tu n'est pas prêt à te mettre à ton compte je te souhaite une bonne galère

Ma femme étant dans le médical ou le secrétariat, on pense qu'elle va galérer mais c'est fesable, notre crainte c'est le mal du pays pour nos filles (8 et 6 ans).

En général, quand on dit administratif, on pense fonctionnaires. Il y a plusieurs corps de fonctionnaires territoriaux (propres à la Nouvelle-Calédonie) : enseignement, informatique, différents corps techniques, administratif, médical, etc... (voir le site de la drhfpt.gouv.nc)
Le recrutement des fonctionnaires de catégories A, B, C ou D (en voie de disparition) se fait par concours ouverts (pour l'instant) aux titulaires de certains diplômes et de nationalité française.
Certains postes sont pourvus par voie de détachement de cadres métropolitains (France et cadres supérieurs en général) d'une durée de 2 à 4 ans, voire 6 ans (plus rare maintenant) ou par recrutement de contractuels, soit en cdd (en attente des résultats de concours) ou en cdi pour des postes bien spécifiques.
Pour les matériaux tu trouveras tout ce qu'il te faut faut dans la zone industrielle qui s'appelle ducos qui se trouve à 5 minutes du centre de nouméa. tu as des boites comme la SCET ou encore FABICAL et bien d'autres. Pour tes filles, je pense qu'a cet âge là elles vont vite s'adapter et penser à autre chose, à l'école on se fait des copains copines .....
les 6 premiers mois ont étés assez dur pour moi mais ensuite j'avais pris mes repères et tout allait comme sur des roulettes.

Je viens de trouvez du travail à nouméa mais ce qui me dérange c'est que mon départ dois se faire sous un mois.
Que dois-je faire au niveau administratif? Je n'est pas de passeport, donc je doit prendre un vol direct!
Où puis trouvez un logement en si peu de temps?
il n'existe pas de vol direct pour Nouméa et je crois qu'on ne peut plus prendre l'avion sans passeport.
c'est vrai qu'en 94, j'étais venue avec une simple carte d'identité mais ce n'est plus possible.
par contre, vous devriez pouvoir vous faire délivrer un passeport en urgence, même provisoire, pour vous permettre de voyager.
pour le logement, il y a plusieurs solutions.
Je te conseille l'hotel dans un premier temps en attendant de trouver autrechose.
