[Information For Normal Passports]
TWOV (Transit Without Visa):
Visa required, except for Visa not required for those
continuing to a third country, provided:
- continuing by the same or first connecting aircraft within
18 hours; and
- holding confirmed onward tickets; and
- all documents required for their the next destination.
Only one stop-over in Saudi Arabia is permitted, except when
flying on Saudi Arabian Airlines, where a second transit point
is permitted. Any change to itinerary is subject to
immigration approval. There are no hotel facilities available
at the airport transit area.

Passengers whose connection time is over 6 hours and less
than 18 hours may be allowed to leave the airport for hotel
accommodation or shopping. If passengers are granted
permision to leave the airport, immigration will retain
their passports and issue a transit permit which must be
submitted to immigration 3 hours prior to departure. One
coloured passport photograph is required. Additional Information:

- It is strongly recommended not to hold passports containing
any Israeli visa or stamp when entering or transiting Saudi
Arabia.
- It is strongly recommended that passengers with muslim
background and non-Saudi Arabian nationality, holding a
normal Visit/Business Visa, do not enter Saudi Arabia via
Jeddah during the Haj season as entry may be refused on
suspicion of performing Haj.
- Visitors must hold all documents required for next
destination, and return or onward tickets.
