Si je comprends un peu ce qui suit on ne peut plus voir le prismatic du haut de la colline?
On Monday May 16th, we became aware of individuals who walked off trail at Grand Prismatic Spring. That same day, U.S. Park Rangers obtained arrest warrants for three of the four suspects who were walking off the boardwalks. Charges on a fourth individual are pending confirmation of his identity. Park scientists are assessing damages to Grand Prismatic Spring and adjoining geothermal resources as part of this ongoing investigation. Additional charges may be filed by U.S. Park Rangers.
Each of the three individuals are charged with the following:
36 C.F.R. § 7.13 (j)
Yellowstone National Park: Travel on Trails; foot travel in all thermal areas and within the
Yellowstone Canyon between the Upper Falls and Inspiration Point must be confined to boardwalks or trails that are maintained for such travel and are marked by official signs
36 C.F.R. § 2.34 (a) (4)Creates or maintains a hazardous or physically offensive condition.
Information and tips provided by the public and media have been invaluable. We want to thank everyone for their passion and for helping protect geothermal resources in the park.
