Save Has anybody had any dealings with the car rental company called "Value Car Rental" located at 195 Mandume Ndemufayo Ave. Southern Ind.
Windhoek ? They have some great deals on 4x4 rentals if you hire models from 2003 or 2004. Are these vehicles in good shape? Is hiring an older model a bad idea? Or are these vehicles ie Toyota double cab built to go on and on? Any info on this particular company would be great, this the web address of the company

Save Hi Chemmanstu I used them a few weeks ago when friends came to visit.Instead of lending them my 4x4.They organised a great deal and the vehicle had less than half the milage of my own 4x4, and they could equip them with all the camping gear at a really good rate.The company has over 40 vehicles I believe with back up.I have travelled in the most remote places and from experience it is the brand new fully computerised vehicles that break down at the most inconvenient places. Pas de probleme, on l'a utilisé l'été dernier pour 1 mois. Véhicules d'environ 100000kms, compagnie dans les locaux d'Asco (une sorte de succursale) dont tout le monde parle en bien dans le forum. Bien verifier que tout aille bien avant de partir comme la pression des pneus (attention aux valves usagées) et le fonctionnement des gonfleurs et du manometre. Très sympas et efficaces. A ce prix c'est cadeau!
