Je suis actuellement fille au pair au Texas et j ai suivi quelques cours dans un community college.
Je souhaite donc maintenant devenir full time student en passant d un visa J1 a un visa F1. Le college m a donne mon document I20, tous mes papiers sont pret pour mon rendez vous a l ambassade a paris le 22 juin.
Je vivrai toujours chez mon host, mais je ne serai plus remuneree car c est interdit. Il me garde chez lui pour me rendre service car j ai eleve le petit pendant 1 an et quelques mois apres le deces de la maman.
Dans les papiers jai du stipuler que mon adresse serait toujours la meme ce qui m inquiete pour l obtention du visa. Je pense que les employes consulaires vont penser que mon host me paiera toujours. C est pourquoi je lui ai demande une lettre dans laquelle il indique qu il ne me paiera pas mais qu il me rend service pour l education et le soutient que j ai apporte au petit apres le deces de sa maman.
Y a t il un gros risque de refus pour ma demande de visa?
Des autres personnes sont elles passees par un changement de visa J1 a F1 comme moi?

Je pense que tu devrais bien montrer les preuves de ton inscription a un "community college". C'est bien d'avoir fait faire une lettre comme quoi tu es hébergée gratuitement. Aussi il faut bien montrer que ta famille est en France et que tu n'as pas l'intention de rester aux USA, une fois finies tes études.

La fille concernée a eu un 1er refus pour sa demande de visa. Elle a refait une 2ème demande et 2ème refus. Elle était la dernière au pair, les enfants étaient grands et la famille n'avait plus besoin d'au pair. D'après ce qu'elle écrit, à l'Ambassade ils ne lui ont même pas laissé le temps de s'expliquer. Ils étaient convaincus que c'était un arrangement entre la famille et l'au pair.
Et toi, le papa reprendra une au pair ?
Si la réponse est non, je pense que tu aura beaucoup de mal à les convaincre, même avec une lettre.
Mon compte bancaire est très bien fournis (j'ai le double de la somme demandée par le college) donc j'apporterai mes relevé bancaire. Par contre, j'ai mis tout cet argent sur mon compte américain pour pouvoir m'en servir car je n'ai plus de carte bancaire en France. J'ai aussi un compte francais, qui est moins fourni ainsi que les relevés bancaires de mes parents.
En ce qui concerne une autre aupair après moi, la réponse est non. J'emmènerai le ptit à lécole en allant au college et je le récupèrerai en rentrant car c'est sur mon chemin. Plus besoin d'aupair pour lui.
.... C'est vraiment stressant d'autant plus que je laisse toutes mes affaires au Texas lorsque je vais demander mon visa. Si il n'est pas accordé, je dois revenir tout chercher... Est ce que c'est possible de revenir sans VISA, juste avec le document ESTA? si je prouve que je rentre en France après avoir tout récupérer avec un billet de retour Texas France?
J’espère que tu auras ton visa, mais je pense que ça risque d’être difficile.
Le visa tu l’obtiendras si tu peux prouver que tu as suffisamment d’agent (pour payer tes études et vivre aux USA sans travailler) et de solides attaches en France.
Il faut te mettre à la place des agents de l’Ambassade. Ils veulent être certains que tu n’essayes pas d’immigrer aux USA. Dans ton dossier il n’y a aucun point en ta faveur :
- tu veux retourner vivre chez un homme seul (enfin tu ne précises pas s’il vit avec quelqu’un),
- il a un enfant et personne pour garder l’enfant,
- tu as tout ton argent sur un compte américain…..
Si l’agent a le moindre doute sur les raisons exactes de ton retour, ton visa sera refusé.
Ensuite, pour retourner aux USA sous le programme d’exemption de visa, c’est pas gagné d’avance. Sur le formulaire, on te demande :
F) L’admission aux Etats-Unis ou l’octroi d’un visa vous a-t-il déjà été refusé ? Un visa d’entrée aux Etats-Unis vous ayant été octroyé précédemment a-t-il été annulé ? *
Si oui, quand.... où....
Tu es obligée de répondre oui (ils ont ta demande et ton refus de visa) et l’ESTA risque de ne pas être accordé.
Et c'est précisé : "Le refus de vous accorder une autorisation de voyage électronique ne vous empêche pas de solliciter un visa pour vous rendre aux Etats-Unis".
Mais comme ton visa a déjà été refusé......
Il faudrait que tu trouves un autre endroit où loger (chez des amis, colocation….)

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
