Est-ce un bon salaire ? Le salaire est-il suffisant pour vivre a Tahiti ? Bien vivre ?
Je compte rester qq années afin de tout explorer la bas, mais je vois que beaucoup de monde de la bas nous disent "arreter de croire que Tahiti c'est le reve". Rassurez moi, il y a quand meme des endroits sympas, des plages de sables blancs, des endroits trankil sans touristes...? Ou alors ce n'est que sur les cartes postales ?
Quel moyen de transport me conseillez vous pour vivre sur l'ile, la voiture est-elle vraiment necessaire ? Scooter ? Vélo ? Transport en commun ?
Je pense vivre en colocation...me conseillé vous d'autres modes
de logements...peux etre specifique a Tahiti ?

C'est vrai, on ne paie pas d'impôts à Tahiti, mais il faut ajouter 30 à 40 % de plus sur tous les achats de la vie de tous les jours, car pratiquement tout est importé, et cela a un coût.
Tu as deja de la chance d'avoir pu trouver un emploi ici !A part la santé les gendarmes et quelques autres profs et compagnie c' est un petit peu difficile..bref !
Pour un salaire de 2500€ qui sera le tien, tu vivra plutot bien. C'est assez relatif tout de meme! Tu auras plus que le minimum au quotidien mais tout se joue dans le niveau de vie que l' on mène ! Si tu veux sortir, aller dans les iles de temps en temps, faire de la plongée, manger du foie gras ou boire du champ' c'est impossible ! Il te faudra donc prioriser certaines choses une fois ici, mais tu t' en fera une idée par toi meme! Cela dit je te le repete, c' est largement bon!
Tu comptes rester quelques années, c'est sur qu'il faut bien ça pour en avoir appercu a peu près tous les recoins :D
Bon, qd on dis tahiti faut pa croire que c' est le rêve c' est entièrement vrai !Comme chaque endroit qui a des cotés attrayants, il y a forcément des cotés qui le sont moin !
Sur tahiti meme, qui est la plus grosse ile de la polynésie, il y a des endroits sympas a peu près partout a partir de 15-20km de Papeete, la plus grosse ville de tahiti !Etant donné que l' ile fait 130KM maxi, et encore jen sui pa sur, ça fait un potentiel relatif !
A par tahiti qui n' est quand meme pa si moche que ça, le reste de la polynésie est merveilleuse pour ce que j' en ai vu pour l' instant et pour les photos et recits d' autres gens d' ici ! A tahiti tu trouvera surtout des plages de sable noir et eau limpide bien chaude, assez envahits le week end !Ailleurs, sur les autres iles, sable blanc, lagons bleus turquoises, poissons multicolors :), tout cela sur les 170 iles de la polynésie.. tu aura le choix quand aux iles les plus touristiques ou celles qui ne le sont pas du tout et ou il n' y a quasiment pas de tourisme!
MAIS, cela reste relativement cher d' y aller 4 jours ou un week end en " vacances ", meme une semaine.Ca en reviens au debut de ce que je te disais, il te faudra prioriser tes envies !
Pour ce qui est des moyens de locomotion..C' est aussi a toi de voir selon tes besoins !
Il y a un systeme de "truck", petit bus local qu'on remarque très facilement, avec les quels tu peut faire le tour de l' ile ( en changeant de truck de temps en temps ) et qui sont assez frequents et bon marché ( 130cpf donc environ 1 euro.. ) ! Ca depanne au debut, mais quand on est habitué a conduire son propre engin, ça deviens assez embettan a moyen terme !
Voiture ou scooter.. peu importe ! tiens compte qu'il y a pa mal de bouchons ici donc scooter ça va plus vite, mais aussi que quand il pleut ca fait pas semblant :D donc c' est a toi de voir encore une fois !!
La colocation ! C'est très répendu ici, tu peut en changer tous les mois si ça te tente .. Tu trouve plein d' annonces sur des sites plus spécifiques que tu pourra avoir sur des moteurs de recherche! sinon une fois sur place si tu n' a plus internet pendant quelque temps, pas de probleme ! tu va acheter les journaux locaux ou tu choppes un paru vendu gratuit tout les lundis ou mardi dans les centre commerciaux et autres .Ca pars quand meme très vite !!
Sinon pour une maison correcte ( piscine ou pas, clim ou pas, jardin ou pas, salle de bain perso ou pas, vue sur la mer ou pas.. ) en colocation ça oscille entre 70.000 et 90.000, peut etre meme 60.000 !
Petit rapel, 1000cpf = 8.40euros quand je suis parti il y a 3 mois.
Enfin pour les billets d' avion, oui c' est cher !Pas de solution miracle. Tu prend un A-R ou un aller simple ? Moi mon aller simple était presque au meme prix qu'un aller retour, a savoir 1000 euros !Tu trouve aussi plein d' aller simple a 4000 euros aussi, j' ai jamais trop compris pourquoi !!! Tout dépend finalement du nombre d' escales durant ton voyage de la compagnie et des aéroports auxquels tu attéri !

2500 € = 300000 Francs pacifiques. Il faut déjà compter au moins 100000 FCP à Tahiti pour le loyer 10000 FCP pour les charges; la vie est très chère à Papeete. Manger à midi coute au moins 1500FCP. Donc, il ne te restera pas énormément pour les loisirs et le moindre déplacement vers les îles se fait par avion et donc coûte cher. Une nuit dans une pension, c'est au moins 10000FCP et un billet AR pour Huahine est à + de 20000FCP. Donc voilà, on peut vivre, mais sans faire de folies et avec des loisirs pas chers et peu de voyages. 😛
On pense venir passer 6 mois avec mon copain en PF, plus du cote de Moorea et je me demandais si il etait facile de trouver du boulot dans les grands hotels ?
Et si par chance je trouve quelque chose, est ce que tu sais si ils hebergent leurs employes ?
Si oui, est ce qu'il est possible qu'on y vive a 2 ? ou alors ils hebergent seulement les employes ?

Ce n'est pas si facile de trouver du travail temporaire dans les hôtels de Polynésie. Tout dépend de vos qualifications. Il y a ici un excellent lycée hôtelier qui forme pléthore de jeunes polynésiens... qui cherchent des terrains de stage ... et qui coûtent moins cher. Néanmoins, en prenant contact avec les chaînes d'ici (regarde sur l'annuaire de polynésie par le web) Sofitel, sheraton, Radisson, Pearl Resort, tu peux arriver à trouver peut-être des extras ou des remplacements. Les personnels ne sont en général pas logés sauf parfois dans les resorts isolés sur les motus. Voilà, good luck !
Attention, Emilie, j'ai vu que tu étais à Dublin. Si tu es Irlandaise, il faudra une autorisation de travail pour étranger car la Polynésie française n'est pas dans l'Europe. 😉
