Mistake with married name instead of maiden name on flight ticket via Expedia for Emirates

I booked a flight to Dubai on Expedia with my married name instead of my maiden name, with Emirates. I sent a form to Expedia to correct it, I called them several times, and they keep passing me around without fixing my name. On my passport, it shows my maiden name (ép. ...). Do you think it’ll be okay?

Hi, It depends on the airline, but the rule is that the name on the ticket must match the one on your passport. So if your married name is on your passport, I think it’s fine. If you're unsure, contact Emirates France for confirmation.
Cordialement, Patrick.

Hi there, I recently had a similar issue with a gender error (Mr instead of Ms). I called Emirates—they have a line in France—and they fixed it for free because I acted within 48 hours. Also because I always buy my tickets directly... Try reaching them with your booking number to see what they say.

Good evening,

If the name on the ticket matches one of the names on the passport, there won’t be any issue.

It's fine, no problems.
Ils ne savaient pas que c'était impossible, alors ils l'ont fait.

hi, it might be okay, it’s happened to me before, but it’s hit or miss

Hello,

You say it’s random and that it *might* cause an issue. Could you back this up with documentation or cite specific cases? If there *has* been a problem, how exactly was it resolved?

read the message to the end, contact the airline. It happened to me with Lufthansa and it wasn’t a problem.

Hello,

Since your message was only one line, I had no trouble reading it all the way through. And as you mentioned there wasn’t an issue, I agree there’s nothing to worry about.
