The Museum is first class all the way – a video wall, quality dioramas, etc. But something seemed irrely strange. Finally, my wife hit the nail on the head when she said, “It’s interesting that they made a whole museum to a country that essentially has no history.” You know, she’s right. The museum was large on grandeur and image and light on history.
The museum starts with the history of the UAE beginning in the 1940s. They gloss over the treatment of women and the lack of educational opportunities for women until recently.
Still, for what little history
Dubai and the UAE have, it's definitely worth the time. And at least it's not another shopping mall."

Que ça vaut la peine de s'arrêter à cet endroit pour aller aux toilettes si vous avez un ticket du "big red bus" et qu'il y a l'air conditionné, ce qui est fort agréable lorsque vous venez de l'extérieur. C'est marrant mais personne non plus sur tripadvisor n'a réussi à disserter sur l'histoire du pays
