Frommer's Review
Held only on Friday and Saturday nights, the show at Supatra is very interesting, with refreshing and creative interpretations by true performers. Also, you are not locked into a set menu and can order a la carte or just sip a drink and enjoy the show. The one drawback is that while the two-story teak house and river terrace makes a beautiful setting, not all tables have a good view of the performance.
Supatra Riverhouse (02 -411 0305) located in an authentic Thai style house on the banks of the river, makes a great choice for a pre-theatre dinner if you're thinking of visiting the Patravadi Theatre close by which is famous for the performing arts. The restaurant at Supatra Riverhouse also stages classical dance shows during the high season (November - April) Owned and run by Khunying Supatra, a prominent and colourful businesswoman and dynamic promoter of the performing arts and good causes.
Free shuttle boat from Maharaj Pier.
