Salut tout le monde!

Je vais faire un tour d'Europe à moto de avril à juin en traversant tous les pays sauf Espagne, Biélorussie, Moldavie, îles britanniques, Scandinavie et Finlande.

Pourriez vous me conseiller sur les coins à visiter dans tous les autres pays que vous connaissez? Aussi bien les monuments que les villes et que les sites naturels.

Et si vous avez quelques conseils utiles, n'hésitez pas...

Je suis un petit nouveau sur le forum... J'envisage de prendre la route en moto (un vieux kawa 500) en Avril en direction du Kazakhstan. Jusqu'à présent je n'ai fait que de courts voyages et pas très loin. Mon idée du voyage consiste à se lever tout les matins avec une nouvelle destination en tête (en suivant des grandes lignes directives). Et là, surprise, quand on sort de l'europe, on se retrouve très vite enfoui sous des tonnes de paperasses. Bon je ne vous apprends rien, mais ma belle naîveté en prend un coup!! J'ai besoin d'aide pour comprendre le fonctionnement des visas. Si je veux arriver à bon port, il me faudra traverser l'Ukraine et la Russie. Pour ces deux Pays, il semble falloir une invitation. Comment puis je en obtenir une qui ne m'oblige pas à fixer des dates précises de mon passage?

Si quelqu'un pouvait me répondre, ou même tenter de me répondre, je lui en serait reconnaissant.

En me balladant sur le site le coeur ouvert à l'inconnu, je découvre des pseudos magnifiques.

Pour certains j'en comprends la portée et le sens. POur d'autres pas du tout?

Peut être pourriez expliquer ici"le comment du pourquoi " du choix de votre pseudo. Une manière de dévoiler sous un jour nouveau....

Pour moi, c'est Ukrainski, avec ma singature Cyril, l'Ukrainski

3 raisons ont motivé ce choix: 1/ le manque d'imagination 2/ l'intérêt particulier que je porte à l'Ukraine 3/ un certain amusement à parodier l'ukrainien dans sa façon de composer les noms...

"N'y voyez pas un désir pervers "de moquerie"* mais le délire de l'artiste " - les bronzés * ajout personnel...

Au final, les gens comprennent directment qui je suis...

qui connait la Moldavie, j'envisage un petit séjour dans ce pays après avoir visité la hongrie et avant la croatie et la slovenie. merci d'avance.

Les prix des guides en passant par une agence sont exhorbitants, pouvez-vous me donner quelques tuyaux.

j ai 19 ans et j ai déjà beaucoup voyagé de plusieurs manières :, campings, auberge de jeunesse, hôtels, sac à dos, valise, amis, famille, à 2 ou à 6, à pied, en van, en autocar, en voiture, en avion, en bateau, avec très peu d'argent ou un peu plus etc.

Mais aujourd'hui ça se corse : je souhaite partir seule en avril d'abord puis cet été (etc.) et j'aimerai entendre des temoignages de filles d'environ 20 ans et encore plus si cela concerne les pays suivants : Pologne, Rép Tchèque, Slovaquie, Hongrie, Autriche, Slovénie, Croatie ( seulement le nord-est ), Bulgarie, Ukraine, Georgie et Islande .

I arrived in Berlin last night. In another discussion, I shared how much of a "nightmare" the flights from Nice were.

I’ll be posting some impressions here—what I liked and what I didn’t like as much.

This is my first time in Berlin. I’m staying for two weeks. For now, I’m alone, but I’ll be joined by someone in a few days.

Just to clarify, I won’t be posting any photos because my camera gave up the ghost the day before I left. It refused to read memory cards, and I don’t have a smartphone—just a tablet that I leave at the hotel.

Speaking of photos, a few years ago, at the Ducasse d’Ath in Belgium, I met a retired teacher who wasn’t taking any pictures of the festival. I asked her, "You’re not taking any photos?" She told me that during a trip to Nicaragua, she’d photographed howler monkeys and only noticed when looking at the pictures later that the males had huge testicles—something she hadn’t realized in person. She said, "Since then, I don’t bother with photos anymore!" I’ve thought about that often and wonder if I should do the same and stop taking pictures. Still, I’ll probably get a smartphone since it’s hard to go without one these days.

I’m starting a travel journal about the amazing round trip I took in August 2022 with a big circuit through the US West.

Here’s what I posted on another travel forum back when VoyageForum hadn’t yet regained its freedom. 😉

We got back yesterday in the middle of the afternoon, and here’s a quick first take on the 2022 round trip.

Has America changed? You could say that, yeah. For better? For worse? Who knows. A massive circuit—nearly 8,000 kilometers, actually around 5,000–6,000 miles.

Round-trip flights went smoothly, except for Air France on the way back, which let a rather large dog in the cabin with an owner who let it roam around the plane. Cool, Air France... Outrageous!

The rough itinerary: Salt Lake City. Jackson Hole–Grand Teton. Yellowstone. Cody. Rock Springs. Moab–Arches–Canyonlands. Monument Valley. Grand Canyon. Bryce Canyon. Zion Park. Las Vegas. Death Valley. Mammoth Lakes. Tioga Road. Mariposa. Yosemite Valley. San Francisco.

Tourists on site—a sociological study:

Italians: Always nice but just as loud as ever! Hispanics: Same as the Italians, just a different language. Germans: *Ein, zwei, ach mein Gott!* Order and discipline! Americans: Still no manners whatsoever. Pathetic. I’m only talking about the tourists, not the locals who work there. Quebecers: Pure joy! English-speaking Canadians: Same as the Americans. Asians: For the Japanese, it’s perfect. But the others from the Middle Kingdom... Let’s not start a war over this. There’s already Ukraine going on. And yet... Israelis: Still no manners. The Kibbutz kids are the bane of this country. French: Some excellent, some very good, some good, and some... not much.

Note that tourists in the northern part of the trip were much better behaved than those in the south. "Hello," "Goodbye," offering a hand? Etc. Few Asians in Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Lots of locals. The same goes for hotel staff in the northern part—more attentive. Really cool!

On the other hand, we were pretty surprised not to encounter any African-American locals in Montana, Wyoming, Utah, or even Arizona—whether tourists or employees. It’s quite striking, to be honest.

The Hotels:

Holiday Inn - 206 South West Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84101, United States. A modern but soulless hotel. Basically, a place to pass through. Minimal breakfast.

Miller Park Lodge - 155 North Jackson Street - Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Not a hotel but a luxury motel. 750 € for two nights!! No breakfast. Huge room where you could hold a tea dance!! Well-located. No staff. Only room of the month-long stay that was fully redone during those two days.

Best Western Weston Inn. 103 Gibbon Avenue, West Yellowstone, MT 59758 Well-located, not far from the park entrance. Minimal breakfast. Friendly staff. Room refreshed every two days.

Best Western Sunset Inn. 1601 8th St, Cody, 82414-4134 Very good. Quiet. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Baymont by Wyndham 2717 Dewar Drive, Rock Springs, WY 82901 Very good. Quiet. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Too many pets that should be "not allowed." Hello, hygiene!

Wingate by Wyndham Moab. 126 South Highway 191, Moab, 84532 End of the "family" hotels. Start of the tourist hotels. Too many pets that should be "not allowed." Hello, hygiene! Minimal breakfast.

Hampton Inn Kayenta. US Highway 160, Kayenta, AZ 86033, United States A stopover hotel run by the Navajos. Friendly staff wearing masks. Lots of people. Too many pets that should be "not allowed." Hello, hygiene! Minimal breakfast.

La Quinta by Wyndham Williams. 1100 Cataract Lake Rd, Williams, AZ 86046, United States Finally, Route 66 for 500 meters! The staff is there. Nothing more. Too many pets that should be "not allowed." Hello, hygiene! Minimal breakfast.

BEST WESTERN PLUS Ruby's Inn. 26 South Main Street, Bryce Canyon City, UT 84764, United States A factory!!! Great Hispanic or Romanian staff! A liquor store in the hotel! Awesome! Very good breakfast, but go early because the crowd—and the jerks—are there! Too many pets that should be "not allowed." Hello, hygiene!

BEST WESTERN Casino Royale - 3411 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Strip, Las Vegas Good hotel at a reasonable price. No breakfast, but Denny’s is next door. Quiet hotel despite the casino. Friendly staff. No memory of seeing any pets!

Shilo Inn Mammoth Lake. 2963 Main Street, Mammoth Lake Disastrous! Ineffective security system. Fire doors propped open with wooden wedges. Tiny breakfast room. No staff in the room. Tables not cleaned. Minimal breakfast. Gross pool. Rooms need work. No, the whole hotel needs to be redone. They say they’re renovating. They’d be better off tearing it down. Too many pets that should be "not allowed." Hello, hygiene! Very bad memory. Apparently, there’s supposed to be staff in this hotel.

Quality Inn Yosemite Valley Gateway. 4994 Bullion Street, Mariposa, CA 95338 Hotel or motel? Booking should clean up its listings! No room refresh! Minimal breakfast. The staff is there. Nothing more.

Comfort Inn by the Bay. 775 Van Ness Avenue, Marina District, San Francisco No room refresh in four days! Minimal breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Well-located. Depends on what for, but well-located.

And then there are those who steal apples from the breakfast to put in their bags in the morning, those who fill up their famous US water bottles with orange juice from the breakfast pump, those who don’t clear their tables—I could go on. And also, those who don’t say hello or respond to a greeting!

Met some super nice French people (in the northern parks)! They’ll recognize themselves!

And the magic phrase that opens doors with Americans: "Do you speak French? OK, good!" Laughter guaranteed!

Don’t try that with Asians who run souvenir shops in big cities—they have no sense of humor unless it’s about the color of the green bill.

The park rangers are always available! Great!

And 5,000 photos to sort and organize, plus a few hours of dashcam videos!

Bonjour j ai plusieurs questions concernant un projet de voyage avec AF-KLM. Je souhaiterais partir de Marseille vers la Pologne le 3 oct pour une semaine. Je souhaite prendre Air France. J ai lu sur un article de presse que depuis aujourd hui tous les billets étaient annulables sans raison particulière et que les billets non remboursables pouvaient en cas d annulation obtenir un avoir remboursable. Ou pouvons nous lire cette info sur le site d air france. Je n ai rien trouvé de tel sur le site et la dame que j ai eu au téléphone m a dit que seuls les vols annulés par ma compagnie pouvaient obtenir un avoir. Selon si cette info est exacte je réserverai un billet standard non remboursable ou sinon pour 200 € de plus un billet flex.

Pour le choix de vol, ils passent par Amsterdam. Or les pays bas mettent les gens en provenance de Marseille en quarantaine. La dame d air france me l confirmé et m a dit qu on me refuserait l embarquement. Je ne trouve aucune info nulle part concernant cela et ça m etonne beaucoup.

Enfin dernière question, le pologne est aujourd hui ouverte au tourisme pour tous les ressortissants de l espace Schengen. Pensez vous qu ils gardent cette ligne ?

Bonjour, j'aimerai savoir si des personnes sont parties en camping-car en passant par le KAZAKHSTAN pour rejoindre la Chine (je ne veux pas passer par l'IRAN etc) , la Thailande Cambodge Vietnam, Singapour après avoir traversé l'Europe avec des haltes tout au long du voyage . Pouvez-vous me faire part de votre expérience, si c'est réalisable etc. surtout pour la partie sortie de l'Europe ver le KAZAKSTAN etc.. je prévois ce voyage sur au minimum 1 an en Asie pour pouvoir bien en profiter et au total 2 voir 3 ans voir plus.. suivant où le vent nous mènera mon mari et moi..😉 . (ce projet est pour dans quelques années.) Merci de me faire part de votre expérience si vous le voulez bien, aussi bien pour les trajets (état des routes, facilité pour trouver son itinéraire) la nourriture , l'accueil, les règles concernant le stationnement des camping-cars etc... La France et l'Espagne, deux pays visés par la quarantaine imposée par le gouvernement britannique, devraient notamment pâtir de cette décision.

La compagnie explique que ces réductions passeront surtout par une baisse des fréquences de vols plutôt que par des arrêts de desserte.

Bonjour à tous, La Géorgie a annoncé l'ouverture de ses frontières aux touristes internationaux pour le 1er juillet, il y a un moment déjà, mais depuis : plus de nouvelles. En savez-vous plus ? On trouve des articles parlant d'une liste de pays à paraître, mais pas grand chose de plus.

Bonjour, Nouvelle sur ce forum je projette de partir en Arménie d ici 2021 ou 2022, je voyage souvent en Europe en partant un peu sur un coup de tête. Ce voyage là ça me demander plus d'organisation évidemment. Je suis à la recherche d'infos pratiques, certains d'entre vous sont ils déjà partis en poids lourds dans ces pays ? Je suis adepte du camping sauvage et me suis toujours sentie en sécurité partout, seule ou avec un ami, mes deux molosses (non catégorisés) je ne vais jamais au camping. Je suis autonome en électricité et avec une cuve d'eau de 500l je n'ai besoin d'un accès à l'eau qu'une fois par mois. Comment se passe les passages de frontières, pensez vous que les ferrys prennent un camion camping car poids lourd ? Les chiens sont ils acceptés et y a t il une quarantaine ou une sérologie particulière ? Si ce n'est pas indiscret quel budget comptez vous dans ces pays ? Mon véhicule fait 10m de long.. parmis tous mes voyages jamais de galères ni sur les pistes marocaines parfois chaotiques ni sur les routes de Roumanie... Bref j'ai mille et une question et je suis curieuse de vos expériences les plus récentes notamment par exemple sur le fait de voyager en tant que femme seule. Merci d'avance, wahou c'est un pavé, je n'ai pas l'habitude des forums...
